Atlassian closed new Opsgenie sales in June 2025; full end-of-life is April 2027. If you run Opsgenie, you have to move, and it's worth moving to something that does more than Opsgenie did, not less. Opsgenie handled on-call and escalation. Like PagerDuty, it never monitored anything; it ingested alerts from a separate detection tool. What you get that Opsgenie had

Built-in detection. Seven monitor types: HTTP, Docker, ECS, TCP, SSL, DNS, and heartbeat. No separate detection tool to wire in. Heartbeats catch the cron job or queue worker that silently stopped.
Auto-executing runbooks with verify-recovery. The fix runs when the incident opens, and Faultline escalates to a human if the service didn't recover.
Alert correlation. A shared-dependency failure that takes down ten services pages once, not ten times.
AI copilot in every tier. Self-writing incident summaries and blameless post-mortems with exact MTTA/MTTR, AI-suggested runbooks, and anomaly detection.
An MCP server. Your AI agent can diagnose and, with approval, remediate incidents directly. Neither Opsgenie nor its usual replacements have this.
Migrating off Opsgenie
The concepts map directly: Opsgenie schedules become Faultline on-call schedules, Opsgenie escalation policies become Faultline escalation policies, and Opsgenie services become Faultline monitors, now with real detection attached. Rotations, overrides, and multi-level escalation all carry over. A one-click importer for Opsgenie schedules and escalation policies is on the roadmap; in the meantime the structures map one-to-one and rebuild quickly.

Faultline is flat-tier, not per-user: $0 free (5 monitors), $49/mo Pro (50 monitors, 30s checks, runbooks, escalation), $159/mo Growth, $399/mo Enterprise. The AI copilot and MCP server are included at every tier.
